Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Delivery and Shipping

90% Merlot Noir, 10% Cabernet-Sauvignon

The Dame de l’Hospital Graves Rouge from Château de d’Hospital in Bordeaux displays a deep purple hue when swirled in the glass. This French cuvée delights the senses with elegant aromas of plums and sour cherries, complemented by subtle notes of toasted wood.

On the palate, the Château de d’Hospital Dame de l’Hospital Graves Rouge offers a pleasantly dry experience. Despite its dry character, it never feels harsh or lean, as can sometimes be the case with wines of this high calibre. Instead, this robust red wine impresses with a remarkably silky texture. Its well-balanced acidity lends a soft, smooth mouthfeel while preserving vibrant freshness. The finish of this youthful Bordeaux red is long and graceful, leaving a lasting and delightful impression.

Château de l’Hospital is a historic estate in the Graves region of Bordeaux, with origins in the 17th century and an elegant neoclassical château built in the late 1700s. Acquired in 2012 by Brigitte and Florent Battistella, the estate spans around 40 hectares and has been fully organic since 2017.

The vineyards grow Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other Bordeaux varieties, producing refined red and white wines like Dame de l’Hospital and Château de l’Hospital cuvées. The estate combines heritage architecture with sustainable viticulture and offers guided tours, tastings, and event hosting in a stunning setting.
