Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

The Haut-Bailly II 2022 is a stunning expression of the Haut-Bailly estate, crafted to showcase both purity and elegance. With a deep purple-ruby hue, its glass-staining color draws you in and an expressive nose where the perfumes blend together in a harmonious whole. The attack is supple and the palate is tasty and round.

Aged for 12-14 months in French oak, with 20–30% new barrels and the rest second and third fill, the wine maintains its finesse and avoids heavy oak influence. While it is approachable at a younger age than its sibling, Haut-Bailly, it retains the purity and balance that define the estate. Haut-Bailly II 2022 will cellar beautifully, evolving gracefully over the next 8–12 years.
