Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Delivery and Shipping

91% Sémillon, 9% Sauvignon Blanc

2021 Château Rieussec is a benchmark sweet wine from the prestigious Sauternes appellation in Bordeaux, France. Crafted predominantly from Sémillon (with Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle), this wine is luxuriously aromatic, showing layers of apricot, candied orange peel, acacia honey, and hints of toasted almond on the nose.

Château Rieussec Sauternes 2021 boasts a high residual sugar level—a signature of top Sauternes—giving it both exceptional richness and remarkable longevity. The wine’s intense concentration of sugar, balanced by bright acidity, allows it to evolve beautifully in the cellar. Under proper storage conditions, this wine can age gracefully for at least 20 to 30 years, often developing added layers of dried apricot, caramel, roasted nuts, and spice as it matures.
