Corked Wines
While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

The Château Brown Pessac-Léognan Rouge 2022 is a striking example of modern Bordeaux craftsmanship, produced by the historic Château Brown estate in the Pessac-Léognan region. Situated in the classic Left Bank gravel terroir, just outside the vibrant city of Bordeaux, the estate benefits from deep gravel and clay soils that impart both structure and complexity to the wine.
The 2022 vintage was exceptionally warm and dry across Bordeaux, resulting in pronounced concentration and richness in the wine. However, the expertise of Château Brown ensured that the wine retained its fresh and vibrant character, balancing the intensity of the fruit with a polished elegance.
The wine showcases a deep, vibrant purple-ruby color and is aged for 12-15 months in French oak, with around 40% new barrels. This aging process imparts a subtle oak spice, beautifully complementing the wine’s full-bodied structure. Château Brown 2022 is modern, polished, and generously fruity, making it approachable upon release, yet it will continue to evolve gracefully in the cellar for 8-15 years.
With its full, structured body and ripe, elegant profile, this wine represents the best of Pessac-Léognan—powerful yet refined, ready to be enjoyed now or in the future.
