Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Delivery and Shipping

Enjoy complimentary shipping for orders above $200. Otherwise, there is a minimal delivery charge of $4.99.

The 2020 Mayfly Sauvignon Blanc is a classic representation of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, delivering vibrant flavors and lively aromatics. Pale straw with hints of green, signaling its freshness and youthful vibrancy.

On the nose, the bouquet bursts with quintessential Sauvignon Blanc aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit, and lime zest, layered with notes of freshly cut grass and a touch of flinty minerality, which adds complexity and intrigue.

Zesty and refreshing, the wine showcases a medley of tropical fruit flavors—passionfruit, guava, and a hint of pineapple—balanced by citrus tones of lemon and lime. Crisp acidity brings a refreshing edge, making it lively and mouth-watering.

The finish is clean and crisp, with lingering citrus notes and a subtle herbal hint, which enhances its freshness.

Overall, the 2020 Mayfly Sauvignon Blanc is an excellent example of Marlborough’s Sauvignon Blanc, capturing a vibrant and balanced profile that is both refreshing and flavorful.

Situated at the northeastern tip of the South Island, the dry, sunny region of Marlborough is home to more than 500 growers and produces more than three-quarters of all New Zealand wine.
