Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Delivery and Shipping

Enjoy complimentary shipping for orders above $200. Otherwise, there is a minimal delivery charge of $4.99.

Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a historic wine region located between the towns of Orange and Avignon, in France's southern Rhône Valley. It is famous for powerful, full-bodied red wine.

This wins is an emblematic cuvée of Château de la Font du Loup that is composed of blends of classic Châteauneuf-du-Pape blends (Grenache 60%, Mourvèdre 20%, Syrah 15% & Cinsault 5%) that highlights a floral side and a great freshness thanks to a soil composed mainly of sand located on a very cold terroir at the top of the mountain. Grenaches are aged in foudres, Mourvèdre in 600L oak and Syrah in smaller barrels for 18months.

Located at one of the highest points in Châteaneuf-du-Pape, Château Font du Loup, which translates to ‘fountain of the wolves’, is named after the natural springs in the area where the wolves would come to drink. Font du Loup has been in the Melia family since 1942 and is now run by the extremely charming Anne Charlotte Melia-Bachas with her husband Laurent and the help of consultant Philippe Cambie. Font du Loup has roughly 20 hectares (organically farmed), including holdings in the La Crau and Font du Loup vineyards, and is planted on mostly sandy soil with vines that reach 100 years old. It is located in one of the coolest appellation places with slow ripening of the grapes. Winery states “We have always been sensitive to respect for Nature. For many years, we have taken care to preserve the vegetation on the edge of the vines, to limit the passage of tractors, to rigorously select all the inputs with the greatest respect for biodiversity. Bees also contribute to this ecosystem, synonymous with a living natural environment. »
