Return and Refund Policy

Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

The Family Classic Chardonnay is sourced from the finest vineyards throughout California, with each area adding a unique layer into the overall taste profile. Minimally intrusive winemaking techniques allow the true California terroir to shine through in every glass poured and bottle enjoyed.

Harvest started in early August. This classic Chardonnay is fermented in stainless steel tanks to capture the bright aromatics of the grapes. The wine was aged mostly in stainless steel tanks for 10 months with a small portion, around 10%, aged in French oak barrels to add a layer of complexity to the wine before being bottled in October 2020.

Raymond Vineyards has around 68ha of estate vineyards in the Napa Valley, in 3 locations. Each parcel is matched to varietals which perform well in that particular climate and soil type. The winery also maintains long term growing contracts with over 15 Napa Valley growers, allowing the winery to take advantage of the micro-climates and sub-appellations within the Napa Valley.

Raymond was purchased by Boisset of Burgundy in 2009 and in 2010 began converting to biodynamic viticulture. Raymond’s 36ha estate vineyards in Rutherford and St. Helena are certified organic and Biodynamic®, holistic farming methods that are hallmarks of Boisset family properties worldwide. Biodynamic farming expands on the principles of organic viticulture by embracing a view of the vineyard as a single self-regulating, self-sustained entity in harmony with the forces of nature and the celestial rhythms.
