Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Domaine Rollin Père et Fils Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc 2015 exemplifies the finesse and subtle richness of Côte de Beaune’s lesser-known treasures. Pale gold with green hues, the nose is expressive—ripe pear, yellow apple, lemon curd, fresh almond, and white flowers, with lifted notes of acacia honey and a subtle flinty mineral quality from the region’s limestone soils. The palate is medium-bodied and silky, with vibrant acidity and layers of orchard fruit, citrus, hazelnut, and a hint of toasted brioche, all finishing with elegant persistence and a stony, saline mineral signature. Age has added creamy complexity while preserving energy and balance—classic, refined Burgundy.

The Domaine Rollin has now been passed from father to son for the last four generations. Good ‘common sense’ is essential in the choices we make. At Domaine Rollin, this is why we think it important to work as cleanly, neatly and naturally as possible through all the stages of our production. In this process we are certified by Terravitis since 2015.

Soils are ploughed regularly to encourage deep rooting of the vines and ensure diversity of organic life forms. Finally, the essential ingredient is the attention paid to manual tasks carried out throughout the vegetative growth of the vine. They allow us to adapt yields to each parcel and above all to ensure good aeration amongst grape bunches, indispensable for the good health of the crop.
