Michel Couvreur Intravaganza Boisson Spiritueuse de Céréales is a vibrant young malt spirit, distilled in Scotland from 100% malted barley and matured for a short period in Burgundy’s cool cellars—primarily in ex-sherry casks. It presents a pale gold hue and a lively nose of fresh barley, green apple, and delicate white flowers, accented by subtle dried fruits and honey from the sherry wood. The palate is silky and fresh, offering flavors of sweet cereal grain, almond, vanilla, and a gentle, nutty richness with soft oak spice. The sherry cask aging imparts more complexity and roundness than a raw new-make, while preserving a youthful, energetic character. The finish is crisp, elegant, and lightly fruity.
