Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Delivery and Shipping

The 2006 Louis Roederer Cristal is a highly acclaimed champagne, recognized for its sophistication and the prestige associated with the Louis Roederer brand. Crafted by one of Champagne's most esteemed houses, with a history tracing back to the 18th century, the 2006 Cristal stands out for its quality and pedigree. This vintage was shaped by the unique climatic conditions of the year, which were conducive to growing grapes with excellent balance and maturity. The blend typically consists of around 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, harvested from Louis Roederer's own vineyards, all of which are situated in the prime Grand Cru areas of Champagne.

Visually, the 2006 Cristal sparkles with a radiant golden color, interspersed with shimmering amber tones, indicative of its age and the traditional vinification methods used by the house. The champagne's effervescence is fine and persistent, contributing to its elegant appearance. On the nose, it exudes a rich and complex aroma, marked by notes of ripe fruits like citrus and apple, intermingled with nuances of almond, toast, and a slight hint of minerality, a testament to its terroir and oak aging. The palate reveals a rich texture balanced by a crisp acidity, leading to a lingering and multi-dimensional finish. This vintage is particularly noted for its structure, depth, and the harmonious blend of its flavors, making it a sought-after choice among champagne enthusiasts and collectors.
