Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

The 2004 Perrier-Jouët Belle Epoque is an exquisite champagne, renowned for its elegance and the artistry associated with the Perrier-Jouët house. This particular vintage is a part of the Belle Epoque range, which is famous for its beautiful bottle adorned with anemone flowers designed by Emile Gallé, a key figure in the Art Nouveau movement. The 2004 vintage was a result of a year with balanced weather conditions, leading to a harmonious development of the grapes. This champagne is predominantly a blend of Chardonnay, complemented by Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, sourced from the best crus in the Champagne region. The dominance of Chardonnay contributes to the wine's finesse and elegance.

In appearance, the 2004 Belle Epoque presents a delicate golden hue with gentle, consistent bubbles, signaling its quality and the meticulous method of its production. The nose is greeted with a bouquet of white flowers, citrus fruits, and hints of vanilla and brioche, reflecting both the terroir and the aging process. On the palate, it exhibits a perfect balance between richness and acidity, offering flavors of ripe fruit and subtle notes of honey, culminating in a smooth, lingering finish. This vintage is particularly celebrated for its complexity, crisp freshness, and the seamless integration of flavors, making it a cherished choice among champagne lovers and a splendid representation of the Perrier-Jouët house's dedication to crafting elegant and sophisticated champagnes.
