Return and Refund Policy

Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Delivery and Shipping

Enjoy complimentary shipping for orders above $200. Otherwise, there is a minimal delivery charge of $4.99.

A small wine region, often compared to neighboring Ghemme, Gattinara produces bone-dry Nebbiolo from the foothills of the Alps. Created from the union between grapes from three vineyards in Gattinara, each with its own unique characteristics linked to the terroir.

A wine that represents a balance between Gattinara Classico and Gattinara Riserva, but which maintains its harmony, character and grit.

Travaglini's story began in the 1920s, when Clemente Travaglini started making wine from grapes grown in his small estate vineyards. Clemente Travaglini was the one who recognized the potential of this region by establishing the first winery in the centre of the city. His passion helped raise Gattinara's status, a commitment that has continued through the following generations.

Travaglini strives to minimise its impact on its wine where possible as the goal is to capture nature's spirit and express it at the highest level. Our passion for the work, commitment to reach a superior quality and desire to leave a unique mark are the cornerstones on which Travaglini's business rests. In 1958, Giancarlo Travaglini inherited the company and passion from his father Arturo. This was a year of progress and evolution, not only within Travaglini, but from a viticultural and oenological point of view. It was also the year in which Giancarlo designed and patented the traditional Travaglini bottle or "crooked bottle".
