Return and Refund Policy

Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

In late 1993, Asti Spumante was promoted to the top-level DOCG classification, at which point the "spumante" was officially dropped. The moscato grape which is the main grape for this wine is the most renown of Aromatic varieties, requires a specific technique to preserve all the grape's fragrance in the wine. Type of soil marl limestone and slope of the hill with vines planted from 1975.

Label is by Romano Levi himself. A toast with Asti Spumante adds to the significance of not only important annual events such as Christmas or birthdays but also all the simple occasions with friends and family.

Redento Dogliotti founded the company in the 1940s, selling grapes from their vineyards to big industries producing Moscato d’Asti, a very common practice in those days.

In the late 1970s, the son Romano Dogliotti began to invent his own Moscato for bottling and selling it which was innovation at this period. A Moscato of new quality was born.

La Caudrina were one of the first independent producers of Moscato d’Asti and still is today a producer of essential wine, clean and simple as it should be. This has resulted in a credibility not only for the Dogliotti family but for an appellation.
