Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Enjoy complimentary shipping for orders above $200. Otherwise, there is a minimal delivery charge of $4.99.

Barolo is a traditional village in Piedmont, northwest Italy. The hills of the surrounding area have long been famous for producing fragrant, tannic red wines which take its name.

Rinaldi Barolo is made entirely from the Nebbiolo grape variety from the municipalities of La Morra and Barolo from a tiny plot of 2ha and Grand Cru of Barolo. A super-classic Barolo made with a long maceration and extended ageing of 36 months in large oak casks.

The story of Francesco Rinaldi starts in the cellar on the “hill of hills” in the Barolo area; the Cannubi. It's here that soil of Helvetian and Tortonian type blend together giving those unique flavors and characteristics to the Nebbiolo grape that are only to be found in this strip of land.

A date, 1870, and a coat of arms engraved on a vault in the oldest part of the cellar in Barolo. An important starting point summarizing years of history , passion for the hills of Barolo, hard work and devotion to the land that has offered us so much. In the XIX century Giovanni Rinaldi intuitively understood the potential of this farmhouse on a hill planted with vineyards and decided to buy it. His children and grandchildren passionately guided the company handing it down generation after generation arriving at the current owners Paola and Piera Rinaldi . In those initial decades of wine making Barolo was the protagonist in our cellar, bringing together history and tradition. These two focal points were successfully introduced all over Italy by Michele Rinaldi, one of Giovanni's four sons at the beginning of the XX century.
