Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Sourced from vineyards on the slopes surrounding Pernand-Vergelesses, with mainly east and south-east exposures on classic limestone-clay soils, this wine captures the vibrant, mineral character the village is known for.

The 2023 vintage benefited from a mild growing season, resulting in balanced ripening and wines that are expressive, aromatic, and driven by vivid acidity. The wine shows a pale gold colour with bright, clear brilliance. Fermented and aged for 10–12 months in French oak, with only 10–15% new barrels, the élevage is deliberately restrained, preserving freshness and allowing the terroir to speak clearly.

On the palate, the wine is citrusy, mineral, and pure, with a crisp, energetic profile and excellent tension.
