Corked Wines
While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Le Dragon de Quintus Saint-Émilion Grand Cru 2022 is the second wine of the esteemed Château Quintus, part of Domaine Clarence Dillon—the same owners behind the legendary Haut-Brion. Crafted with the precision and finesse that the estate is known for, this wine hails from the prime plateau and southern slopes of Saint-Émilion, where the terroir of clay and limestone soils yields wines of both concentration and elegance.
The 2022 vintage, marked by exceptionally warm and early conditions, produced ripe fruit with polished tannins, yet Le Dragon de Quintus maintains the hallmark freshness of the estate. The wine is deep and vibrant, showcasing a rich purple color with a ruby rim. Aged for 12–16 months in French oak barrels, with approximately 30% new oak and the rest one-year-old, the oak treatment is subtle, focusing on enhancing the purity of the fruit without overwhelming it.
Le Dragon de Quintus 2022 is supple and approachable in its youth, yet it is structured for a decade or more of aging, offering a modern, inviting expression of Saint-Émilion. With its plush texture, fresh acidity, and elegant finish, this wine strikes a perfect balance between fruit and freshness, making it a true reflection of the estate’s commitment to producing wines that are both approachable and age-worthy.
