Return and Refund Policy

Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Delivery and Shipping

Enjoy complimentary shipping for orders above $200. Otherwise, there is a minimal delivery charge of $4.99.

Achaval-Ferrer is a highly regarded Argentine winery based in Mendoza, founded in 1998 by a group of friends including Santiago Achával and Manuel Ferrer. Their philosophy emphasizes purity, terroir expression, and restraint: they work with very low yields, old ungrafted vines, and minimal intervention in the cellar (avoiding filtration, heavy manipulation, or excessive additives). They source grapes from distinct vineyard sites—including historic estates such as Finca Altamira, Bella Vista, Mirador, and Diamante—each contributing unique soil and microclimate character to their wines. Over time, they’ve earned acclaim for crafting expressive, terroir-driven Malbecs and Bordeaux-style blends.
