Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Delivery and Shipping

100% Pinot Noir

Au Bon Climat Los Alamos Pinot Noir Santa Barbara 2017 delivers classic Santa Barbara elegance with a Burgundian sensibility, showing purity, lift, and textural finesse. Medium ruby in color, the bouquet is perfumed—ripe red cherry, cranberry, pomegranate, and strawberry, accented by rose petal, dried herbs, spice, and a touch of forest floor. The palate is medium-bodied with lively acidity and silky, fine-grained tannins, revealing layers of juicy red fruit, raspberry coulis, black tea, subtle oak, and a mineral finish—delicate, vibrant, and balanced, with graceful aging potential.

Au Bon Climat is a Californian estate with an international reputation for its Burgundian-styled Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines made predominantly in Santa Barbara County.

Owner-winemaker Jim Clendenen was one of the best-known figures in the American wine industry. From the beginning in 1982, Au Bon Climat winery was totally devoted to making classical wines. The convergence of cool, brisk Pacific air, marine-based soils, and east-west running valleys of the area provided an ideal place for growing exceptional grapes. Hence the name “Au Bon Climat,” the French idiom for “good place”. Hand-picked grapes are harvested at a sugar level that encourages the wine to age slowly. These are not flashy, exaggerated wines. Rather, they are layered, well-structured wines that give you a smile when you take a sip.
