Return Policy

To protect the provenance of delivered wines, exchange and returns are not allowed.

Corked Wines

While we make every attempt to provide wines of good quality and provenance, we cannot guarantee the personal 'drinkability' for every bottle we sell. It is the industry standard that older wines are purchased "as is" and at the buyer's risk as to the drinkability of the wine. This policy includes "corked" wines (those tainted with TCA and smell of wet cardboard). This wine fault occurred during the cork selection process and is completely out of our control. For the aforementioned reasons, no refund or exchange will be granted.

Delivery and Shipping

Enjoy complimentary shipping for orders above $200. Otherwise, there is a minimal delivery charge of $4.99.

62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 6% Petit Verdot

1762 Marquis de Terme Cuvée Vintage 2020 is a vibrant, modern expression from one of Margaux’s celebrated estates, capturing the richness and finesse of the 2020 vintage. Deep purple-ruby in the glass, the nose offers layers of blackcurrant, blackberry, violet, cedar, and subtle baking spice, accented by graphite and cocoa. The palate is full-bodied, polished, and structured with firm, well-integrated tannins, lively acidity, and powerful dark fruit flavors—cassis, plum, dark cherry—complemented by hints of licorice, earth, and elegant oak. This wine showcases both the intensity and the supple elegance Margaux is famed for, promising both immediate pleasure and cellaring potential.

Located in the heart of the Margaux appellation, the origins of this wine date back to the 15th century, but its name will be given in 1762, by François de Peguilhan, Marquis de Terme. The Seneclauze family owns the property since 1935. Located on a central plateau, its 40 hectares of typical gravel of Margaux are planted with noble grape varieties: cabernet
sauvignon, merlot, petit verdot.
